Dr. Medion VC+ Lotion is a lightweight daily hydrating lotion that combines Vitamin C with multivitamins and barrier-supporting ingredients to improve radiance, uneven tone, visible pores and dehydration.

The formula contains three forms of Vitamin C — APPS, Glyceryl Ascorbate and Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate — together with Vitamins E and B6, essential fatty acids, Ceramide NG and 9 amino acids. It provides antioxidant care while replenishing moisture after cleansing and preparing the skin for serum and moisturiser.

The texture is fresh, watery and quickly absorbed, making it particularly easy to layer and suitable for combination or oilier skin that still needs proper hydration.

WHY I LIKE VC+ LOTION

Because it makes Vitamin C an easy part of everyday skincare rather than another intensive treatment step.

The Vitamin C complex provides antioxidant support, helps improve dull and uneven-looking skin and supports normal collagen production, while Ceramide NG, amino acids, PCA and Betaine help maintain hydration and barrier function. Better hydration and skin elasticity can also make visible pores and uneven texture appear more refined.

It is a good choice for dull, tired or dehydrated skin, uneven tone, visible pores and early signs of ageing. For very dry, sensitive or barrier-compromised skin where hydration is the main priority, Clustive Water is the more intensive barrier-focused option.

THE VITAMIN C + MULTIVITAMIN COMPLEX

APPS (Trisodium Ascorbyl Palmitate Phosphate) is an advanced Vitamin C derivative with both water- and lipid-compatible properties. Dr. Medion combines it with Glyceryl Ascorbate and Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, providing three complementary forms of Vitamin C rather than relying on a single derivative.

The formula also contains Vitamin E and a Vitamin B6 derivative, while Linoleic and Linolenic Acids provide essential fatty-acid support associated with Vitamin F.

To balance the active ingredients, Ceramide NG and 9 amino acids support the skin's moisture barrier and Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF). This combination is what makes VC+ Lotion more than a conventional brightening toner: it addresses brightness and hydration at the same time.

VC+ LOTION vs CLUSTIVE WATER

Both are used after cleansing, but VC+ Lotion is the more active choice when the priority is radiance, uneven tone, visible pores and antioxidant care. Clustive Water focuses more intensively on dryness, sensitivity and barrier support, with three ceramides, 11 amino acids, multiple forms of Hyaluronic Acid and Polyglutamic Acid.

HOW TO USE

Apply morning and evening after cleansing. Dispense an appropriate amount into the palms and gently press over the face until absorbed. Follow with serum and moisturiser; during the day, finish with SPF.

Within the complete VC+ routine:

Cleanse → VC+ Lotion → VC+ Essence → VC+ Cream → SPF

For particularly dehydrated areas, VC+ Lotion can also be used as a short cotton-pad pack for additional hydration.

The formula contains Orange essential oil, giving it the subtle natural citrus aroma characteristic of the VC+ range. Very fragrance-sensitive skin should keep this in mind.
