Dr. Medion SpaOxy Dualgel VC+ is a quick 10-minute carbonated gel mask combining freshly activated CO₂ with three Vitamin C derivatives to refresh dull, tired-looking skin and improve the appearance of uneven tone, texture and visible pores.

The dual-chamber dispenser releases two separate gels — one golden and one clear — at the same time. Mix them together in the palm of your hand until they turn white, activating the freshly prepared treatment immediately before application.  

Unlike the individually portioned SpaOxy Gel treatments, Dualgel VC+ requires no sachets or separate mixing cup. Dispense only the amount you need for the face, neck or a targeted area, making it particularly convenient for regular use.

Key ingredients

Three Vitamin C derivatives
3-Glyceryl Ascorbate, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid and Caprylyl 2-Glyceryl Ascorbate provide antioxidant care and support a brighter, more even-looking complexion. These three derivatives are a defining feature of the updated VC+ formula.  

Licorice root + Artichoke leaf extracts
Licorice root provides antioxidant and skin-conditioning support, while Artichoke leaf is included within the formula’s botanical complex targeting the appearance of texture and visible pores.  

Green tea, Saxifraga + Black Soybean
Part of a broader blend of botanical extracts that complements the Vitamin C complex with additional antioxidant and skin-conditioning care.  

Beetroot + fermented ingredients
Provide additional moisturising and skin-conditioning support within the formula.

SpaOxy Dualgel VC+ or SpaOxy Gel?

Both use Dr. Medion’s freshly activated carbonated treatment concept, but they are designed for different occasions.

SpaOxy Dualgel VC+ — quick 10-minute, multi-use treatment with three Vitamin C derivatives, particularly suited to regular maintenance.

SpaOxy Gel — individually portioned 20–30 minute treatment for a longer, more intensive SpaOxy ritual.  

Dualgel VC+ is the more convenient choice for frequent use, while SpaOxy Gel can be reserved for occasions when you want the complete treatment.

How to use

Dispense both gels into the palm of your hand for approximately 2–4 seconds, adjusting the amount according to the area being treated.

Mix thoroughly until the two gels turn white, then spread an even layer over the face, neck or targeted area.

Leave on for 10 minutes, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and continue with your usual skincare routine.  

Good to know

SpaOxy Dualgel VC+ is the updated version of Dr. Medion’s original Dualgel, with three Vitamin C derivatives and a denser texture added to the formula.  

The formula contains orange oil. Those who prefer fragrance-free skincare may wish to take this into consideration.
