Dr. Medion Moisture UV Cream is a lightweight, moisturising daily sunscreen combining SPF50 / PA++++ protection with ceramides, three forms of Hyaluronic Acid, Tremella mushroom polysaccharide and Acetyl Hydroxyproline. Designed for people who want strong UVA and UVB protection without heaviness, dryness or a white cast — specifically positioned for sensitive and delicate skin.

SPF50 + PA++++ — what they mean

SPF50 indicates UVB protection, strongly associated with sunburn and direct DNA damage. PA++++ indicates very high UVA protection — the highest category in the PA system. UVA penetrates more deeply and contributes to photoageing, pigmentation and collagen degradation. This isn’t simply about preventing sunburn; it’s about protecting the skin from one of the biggest external contributors to premature ageing.

Key ingredients

Three human-type Ceramides (NP, NG, AP) — support the skin barrier’s lipid structure, helping prevent moisture loss and protecting against environmental irritants.

Triple Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid) — approaches hydration in slightly different ways across the skin’s outer layers, resulting in softer, smoother, more comfortable skin throughout the day.

Tremella Fuciformis (Snow Mushroom) — polysaccharides with excellent water-binding and skin-conditioning properties, complementing the ceramides and Hyaluronic Acid.

Acetyl Hydroxyproline — an amino acid derivative associated with collagen structure; adds a skin-supporting dimension to the formula while the UV filters protect the skin.

UV filters & formula

Broad-spectrum protection using a combination of UV absorbers including Octocrylene, Avobenzone and Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate. Dr. Medion uses encapsulation technology to minimise direct contact between certain filters and the skin, contributing to its low-irritation positioning. No white cast. No alcohol, synthetic fragrance or artificial colourants. Contains natural orange oil — caution if your skin reacts specifically to essential oils.

How to use

Apply as the final step of your morning skincare routine before makeup. Use a generous, even amount — approximately a 1–2 cm diameter amount for the whole face. Reapply after significant sweating or prolonged outdoor exposure.

Routine: Cleanse → serum → moisturiser if needed → Moisture UV Cream → makeup

Do not mix your sunscreen into your foundation — apply it as its own proper layer first. A tiny amount cannot provide the protection level printed on the tube.
