Dr. Medion Head Spa Treatment is an intensive conditioning treatment designed to care for damaged hair from the inner fibre through to the outer cuticle, helping restore softness, smoothness, shine and manageability.

The formula combines FiberHance™ BM and hydrolysed keratin with CUTI-PRO™ Lotus Extract, argan oil, Pentavitin® and a multivitamin complex. Together, they provide strengthening, moisturising and conditioning care for hair that feels dry, rough, weakened or difficult to manage.  

Despite its intensive formula, the treatment is designed to leave hair soft and supple without an excessively heavy finish, making it suitable for both dry, coarse hair and finer hair in need of additional conditioning.

I particularly like it for hair that has become dry, rough or less manageable through colouring, heat styling or everyday damage, but doesn’t respond well to very heavy masks.

Used after Head Spa Shampoo, it completes the cleansing step with targeted care for the lengths and ends rather than the scalp.

Key ingredients

FiberHance™ BM
A sugar-derived complex of Hydroxypropyl Gluconamide and Hydroxypropylammonium Gluconate designed to interact with keratin within the hair fibre, helping improve strength and structure.  

Hydrolysed Keratin
A conditioning protein ingredient that complements the strengthening focus of the formula and helps care for damaged hair.

CUTI-PRO™ Lotus Extract
An extract derived from Lotus flower petals, included to help protect the hair fibre and cuticle from UV-related damage.  

Argan Oil
Provides emollient care to help soften rough lengths, improve flexibility and leave hair feeling smoother.

Pentavitin®
Saccharide Isomerate provides moisture-supporting care within the formula.

Beaoplex® VH
A multivitamin complex incorporating Vitamins B3, B5, B6, C and E for additional conditioning and antioxidant care.  

Who is it for?

Head Spa Treatment is particularly suited to dry, damaged, dull or difficult-to-manage hair, including hair regularly exposed to colouring or heat styling.

It can also work well for finer or weakened hair that needs conditioning and strengthening support without the very heavy finish associated with some intensive hair masks.

The complete Head Spa routine

The three Head Spa products perform different roles within the routine:

Head Spa Scalp — weekly pre-shampoo treatment focused on the scalp
Head Spa Shampoo — regular cleansing for the scalp and hair
Head Spa Treatment — post-shampoo conditioning and repair for the hair lengths

Use all three as the complete Head Spa system, or combine Head Spa Shampoo + Treatment as your regular wash routine.  

How to use

After shampooing, gently squeeze excess water from the hair.

Apply an appropriate amount evenly through the hair, avoiding the scalp. For medium-length hair, Dr. Medion recommends approximately a 3 cm diameter amount. Adjust according to hair length and density.  

Leave for 2–3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

For particularly dry or damaged ends, apply a little more product where additional conditioning is needed.

Good to know

Head Spa Treatment has an aromatic blend of Damask Rose, Geranium, Lavender, Clary Sage, Orange, Rosehip and Eucalyptus oils.  

The treatment is applied to the hair rather than the scalp, despite being part of the Head Spa range.
