Meder Hydra-Fill Deep Moisturising & Plumping Sheet Mask for Dehydrated, Dry & Tired-Looking Skin

Meder Hydra-Fill Deep Moisturising & Plumping Sheet Mask for Dehydrated, Dry & Tired-Looking Skin

Order by request

When your skin looks like it needs a very large glass of water.

Hydra-Fill Mask is MEDER's intensive hydrating, plumping and radiance-boosting sheet mask, designed to replenish moisture quickly and leave the complexion looking smoother, softer and beautifully luminous.

It's particularly good when skin feels tight, looks tired or has suddenly lost that healthy, juicy quality — whether that's because of weather, travel, stress, air conditioning, heating or simply a period of dehydration.

And this is one of those products where you can appreciate the result quickly.

Hydrated skin naturally looks plumper, smoother and more reflective, which is why Hydra-Fill has become one of MEDER's best-known pre-event masks.

I think of it as:

hydrate → replenish → plump → smooth → glow.

Each box contains 5 individually packed masks.

WHY I LIKE HYDRA-FILL MASK

Because sometimes skin doesn't need correcting.

It needs water.

Dehydration can make perfectly healthy skin suddenly look:

dull

creased

rough

tired

and more lined than it actually is.

Hydra-Fill tackles that quickly with a formula combining several moisture-supporting ingredients alongside gentle brightening and calming actives.

We have Hyaluronic Acid for hydration and plumping.

Carrageenan and mineral-rich sea water supporting moisture retention and barrier comfort.

Gluconolactone for gentle resurfacing and additional hydration.

Tranexamic Acid supporting a brighter, more even-looking complexion.

And Skinasensyl® peptide helping calm sensitivity.

So although hydration is the star of the show, this isn't simply a Hyaluronic Acid mask.

WHO IS HYDRA-FILL MASK FOR?

I particularly like it for:

Dehydrated skin
When skin feels tight, looks dull or suddenly shows more fine lines than usual.

Dry skin
When the complexion needs an intensive moisture boost alongside the regular routine.

Fine dehydration lines
Particularly when lines become more noticeable after travel, stress or lack of sleep.

Dull skin
When the face has lost its usual freshness and luminosity.

Tired-looking skin
For those mornings when your face is revealing information about last night that you'd rather keep private.

Before an event
Weddings, dinners, photographs, parties or whenever you want makeup to sit beautifully.

After travelling
Especially after hours in dry aircraft cabins or air-conditioned environments.

Seasonally dehydrated skin
When winter heating, cold weather or summer air conditioning has disrupted your normal moisture balance.

Sensitive skin
Because the formula combines hydration with soothing Skinasensyl® peptide.

All skin types
Including oily skin.

Because once again:

oil and hydration are not the same thing.

DRY SKIN OR DEHYDRATED SKIN?

These two are often confused.

Dry skin generally refers to skin that naturally produces less oil and lacks sufficient lipids.

Dehydrated skin lacks water.

And dehydration can happen to any skin type.

Yes, including oily skin.

You can therefore have:

dry + dehydrated skin

or

oily + dehydrated skin.

If your skin suddenly feels tight while still becoming shiny during the day, dehydration may be part of the picture.

Hydra-Fill Mask is particularly useful because its focus is restoring water and moisture balance, rather than covering the face in heavy oils.

WHY DOES DEHYDRATION MAKE FINE LINES LOOK WORSE?

Imagine a grape.

Now imagine a raisin.

Same fruit.

Very different surface.

We're obviously simplifying skin biology considerably, but the visual principle is useful.

When the outer layers of skin contain sufficient water, the surface appears plumper and smoother.

When water content drops, small lines and textural irregularities become more visible.

That's why a genuinely good hydrating treatment can make fine lines appear softer relatively quickly.

We haven't permanently erased the wrinkle.

We've improved the hydration that was exaggerating it.

And that's still a very useful result.

HYALURONIC ACID — THE WATER MAGNET

Hyaluronic Acid is naturally present within our tissues and has an exceptional relationship with water.

In skincare, it functions primarily as a humectant, helping support hydration and maintain a plumper skin surface.

Hydra-Fill uses Hyaluronic Acid technology as the foundation of the mask's moisturising effect.

The sheet then keeps that hydrating gel in close contact with the skin for the full treatment.

The result?

Skin that can look:

plumper

smoother

softer

and noticeably more luminous after a single treatment.

DOES HYALURONIC ACID REALLY “HYDRATE DEEPLY”?

You'll often hear skincare described as “deeply hydrating.”

It's useful language, but let's keep it realistic.

Different forms and molecular sizes of Hyaluronic Acid interact with different levels of the outer skin environment, helping improve hydration and reduce moisture loss.

But we're not injecting Hyaluronic Acid into the dermis with a sheet mask.

Topical Hyaluronic Acid and injectable dermal filler are completely different things.

One improves skin hydration.

The other physically places material beneath the skin.

Same famous molecule.

Very different job.

DEEP SEA WATER — MORE INTERESTING THAN IT SOUNDS

One of the more unusual components of Hydra-Fill is mineral-rich sea water.

MEDER uses deep sea water as part of the mask's hydration and barrier-support strategy because it naturally contains minerals and trace elements.

Combined with the other humectants and moisturising ingredients in the formula, it helps create an environment that supports better water retention and skin comfort.

This is part of what gives Hydra-Fill its characteristic:

soft + translucent + dewy

finish.

CARRAGEENAN — HELPING HOLD ONTO MOISTURE

Carrageenan is derived from red marine algae.

In skincare, it has useful water-binding and film-forming properties.

That makes it particularly appropriate here.

Hydra-Fill isn't only trying to deliver water to the surface.

We also want to help the skin hold onto that moisture.

Carrageenan contributes to the soft, conditioned feeling after the mask and complements the Hyaluronic Acid beautifully.

Think:

Hyaluronic Acid attracts moisture.

Carrageenan helps create the moisture-holding environment.

TRANEXAMIC ACID — WHY IS A BRIGHTENING INGREDIENT IN A HYDRATING MASK?

Because hydrated skin looks better when the tone looks even too.

Tranexamic Acid is widely used in modern skincare to support a more even-looking complexion and help address unwanted pigmentation.

In Hydra-Fill, it gives us something beyond basic moisturising.

The skin isn't simply intended to look:

wetter.

It should look:

fresher, clearer and more luminous.

This is particularly useful when dehydration and uneven tone are combining to make the complexion look tired.

WILL HYDRA-FILL TREAT MY PIGMENTATION?

Hydra-Fill can support a brighter, more even-looking complexion, but it isn't MEDER's primary pigmentation treatment.

If pigmentation is your main concern, Lumino-Derm is the more targeted family.

Think of Tranexamic Acid here as an intelligent addition to the hydrating formula rather than the entire purpose of the product.

And, as always:

if pigmentation matters to you, daily SPF matters too.

GLUCONOLACTONE — THE GENTLE EXFOLIATOR

Gluconolactone is a PHA — polyhydroxy acid.

It provides gentle exfoliation while also behaving as a humectant.

That's a lovely combination in dehydrated skin.

We can help improve dull surface texture without relying on aggressive exfoliation that leaves already-dry skin feeling even tighter.

So Gluconolactone contributes to:

smoother texture

better radiance

and additional hydration.

This is why the skin can look so polished afterwards.

We're not only adding water.

We're improving how the surface reflects light.

SKINASENSYL® — CALMING THE SKIN

Skinasensyl® is Acetyl Tetrapeptide-15, a peptide specifically associated with skin comfort and reduced sensitivity.

This makes Hydra-Fill particularly interesting for skin that isn't simply dehydrated but also feels:

tight

reactive

or generally uncomfortable.

Hydration and sensitivity often overlap because a compromised barrier can make the skin more reactive.

So instead of only adding moisture, Hydra-Fill also includes an ingredient designed to help the skin feel calmer.

WHAT DOES “GLASS SKIN” ACTUALLY MEAN?

This term gets thrown around constantly.

Glass skin does not mean your pores disappear and your face literally becomes reflective.

It describes skin that looks:

exceptionally hydrated

smooth

clear

plump

and luminous enough to reflect light beautifully.

Hydra-Fill is particularly good at creating this effect because hydration changes the optical quality of the skin.

A rough, dehydrated surface scatters light.

A smooth, well-hydrated surface reflects it more evenly.

So some of that glow isn't magic.

It's physics.

WHY IS HYDRA-FILL SO GOOD BEFORE MAKEUP?

Because makeup usually behaves better on hydrated, smooth skin.

When skin is dehydrated, foundation can catch around:

dry patches.

fine lines.

rough texture.

and flaky areas.

After Hydra-Fill, the skin surface is generally softer and plumper, giving makeup a more even canvas.

That's why this kind of treatment is particularly popular before:

weddings

photo shoots

red-carpet events

parties

and important occasions.

Use the mask, massage in the remaining gel, apply your moisturiser and allow everything to settle before starting makeup.

Your foundation should not be swimming in serum.

WHY A SHEET MASK?

The bamboo-fibre sheet keeps a generous amount of active gel in continuous contact with the skin for approximately 20 minutes.

And MEDER is generous here:

each individual mask contains approximately 30 ml of active gel.

That's roughly the volume of a standard full-size facial serum concentrated into one treatment.

The mask also wraps around the chin and secures behind the ears, so it stays in place while you're moving around.

No need to spend twenty minutes lying completely flat and reconsidering your life choices.

HYDRA-FILL MASK + HYDRA-FILL ACTIVE SERUM

These two have the same overall hydration theme, but they are not the same treatment.

HYDRA-FILL ACTIVE SERUM

Think:

daily correction of persistent dryness and impaired water retention.

The serum uses Hyaluronic Acid alongside MEDER's prebiotic and probiotic technology to support the skin's ability to retain moisture over time.

HYDRA-FILL MASK

Think:

intensive hydration + immediate plumping + glow.

The mask is particularly good when you want skin to look and feel better quickly.

So:

SERUM = daily correction.

MASK = weekly intensification.

You can absolutely use them together, but you don't have to own both.

HOW TO USE HYDRA-FILL MASK

Use once or twice per week.

Start with properly cleansed skin.

If you're using a serum or active care product, apply it according to your normal routine before the mask.

Carefully unfold one Hydra-Fill Mask and position it over the face.

Secure the side loops around the ears, pull the lower section underneath the chin and secure the second pair of loops.

Leave on for approximately 20 minutes.

Remove the sheet and do not rinse.

Gently massage the remaining active gel into the skin, then finish with your appropriate MEDER moisturiser.

Simple:

Cleanse → serum/active care → Hydra-Fill Mask → 20 minutes → massage in remaining gel → moisturiser.

CAN I USE IT AROUND THE EYES?

The sheet naturally treats much of the face, but avoid forcing product directly into the eyes.

One important distinction: MEDER advises against applying the Hydra-Fill Active Serum directly around the eye area because very high water retention in this thin tissue may contribute to puffiness in susceptible people.

So if you are naturally prone to puffy eyes, don't deliberately saturate the immediate eye contour with leftover Hydra-Fill product.

More hydration isn't automatically better everywhere.

CAN I USE IT AFTER A FLIGHT?

This is one of the best times.

Aircraft cabins have very low humidity, which can leave skin feeling:

tight

dull

dry

and exhausted.

Hydra-Fill makes an excellent post-travel recovery treatment when your face looks like it crossed several time zones without your permission.

Cleanse.

Mask.

Twenty minutes.

Moisturise.

Then sleep if at all possible.

Skincare cannot cure jet lag.

CAN OILY SKIN USE IT?

Yes.

Oily skin can absolutely become dehydrated.

Hydra-Fill isn't a heavy nourishing cream designed specifically for lipid-deficient skin.

Its primary focus is water balance and hydration.

So if your oily skin feels tight, dull or dehydrated — particularly after over-cleansing, travel or environmental exposure — Hydra-Fill can make perfect sense.

You do not need to earn hydration by having dry skin.

CAN SENSITIVE SKIN USE IT?

Hydra-Fill is designed for all skin types and includes Skinasensyl® peptide specifically to support skin comfort and reduce sensitivity.

As always, if your skin is actively inflamed or reacting to everything you apply, introduce products carefully.

But the overall strategy here is hydration + soothing rather than aggressive stimulation.

CAN I USE IT WITH MICROCURRENT?

Yes.

MEDER specifically states that Hydra-Fill Mask can be combined with microcurrent therapy.

If you're using a professional or home device, follow the instructions for that particular device regarding compatible conductive products and treatment protocols.

DO I RINSE AFTERWARDS?

No.

After approximately 20 minutes, remove the mask and massage the remaining gel into the skin.

Then apply your moisturiser.

Don't spend twenty minutes giving your skin a hydration treatment and immediately wash the treatment down the sink.

CAN I LEAVE IT ON LONGER?

There's no need.

Approximately 20 minutes is the recommended treatment time.

A sheet mask doesn't become more effective because you leave it on until it has dried completely.

Remove it while it is still comfortably moist, massage in the remaining product and finish your routine.

CAN I REUSE IT?

No.

Each mask is designed for one treatment only.

There may be plenty of active gel remaining in the sachet, and you can use that on the:

neck

décolleté

or other appropriate areas.

But don't put a used sheet back into its sachet.

One mask.

One face.

One treatment.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Hydra-Fill is one of the masks where the immediate result is part of the appeal.

After one treatment, skin should feel:

softer

more hydrated

smoother

and more comfortable.

Visually, the increased hydration can make the complexion appear:

plumper

fresher

more luminous

and less obviously fatigued.

That's exactly why I like this mask before an event.

You don't need to wait six weeks to appreciate why you used it.

MY HYDRA-FILL MASK RULES

Dry and dehydrated aren't the same thing.
Any skin type can become dehydrated.

Oily skin still needs water.
Sebum is oil. Hydration is water.

Hyaluronic Acid helps plump dehydrated skin.
That can make fine lines appear softer relatively quickly.

Carrageenan and sea minerals support the moisture-holding environment.

Tranexamic Acid adds brightening support.
But Hydra-Fill isn't your primary pigmentation treatment.

Gluconolactone gently improves texture and radiance.

Skinasensyl® helps keep the treatment calming and comfortable.

Glass skin means hydrated, smooth and luminous-looking skin.
Not poreless skin.

Use it once or twice weekly.

Leave it on for approximately 20 minutes.

Don't rinse afterwards.

Each sheet is single-use.

And remember: one box contains FIVE individually packed masks.
That's 5 complete Hydra-Fill treatments per box.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Hydra-Fill Mask is the one I reach for when the problem isn't complicated — your skin simply looks thirsty, tired and less luminous than you know it can.

Hyaluronic Acid replenishes hydration and helps plump the skin.

Carrageenan and mineral-rich sea water support moisture retention.

Gluconolactone gently smooths dull texture.

Tranexamic Acid adds brightening support.

And Skinasensyl® helps keep sensitive skin comfortable.

The result is what we actually want from a great hydration mask:

softness.

plumpness.

smoothness.

comfort.

And that beautiful healthy glow that makes people ask what you've done to your skin.

Use it as your weekly hydration boost, after travel, during periods of seasonal dehydration or before an event when you want your complexion looking particularly fresh.

And because one box contains 5 individually packed masks, you get five complete intensive treatments rather than a single sheet.
