Hydra-Fill is not simply a hyaluronic acid serum that makes the skin feel hydrated for a few hours. The aim is not only to give the skin water, but to help improve the way the skin holds onto that water. Particularly useful when skin feels persistently dry, tight, flaky or dehydrated — especially when you keep applying moisturiser but never feel properly hydrated.

Think of it as: hydrate → hold → restore → strengthen.

Dry skin vs. dehydrated skin

Dry skin lacks oils and lipids. Dehydrated skin lacks water — and oily, acne-prone or combination skin can absolutely be dehydrated too. Hydra-Fill is particularly interesting when water and water retention are central to the problem.

Who is it for?

Persistently dry or dehydrated skin • flaky or rough surface texture • mature skin where water retention is declining • fine dehydration lines • sun-stressed skin • temporarily dry skin from travel, weather, heating or air conditioning • post-treatment recovery (once your practitioner has cleared active homecare).

Key ingredients

Multi-molecular Hyaluronic Acid — different molecular forms address hydration at different levels of the skin’s surface; together they support plumpness, smoothness and luminosity.

Prebiotic Aquaxyl™ (xylitol-derived) — helps improve the way water moves through and is retained in the skin; supports the conditions that allow hydration to last.

Probiotic Arctalys™ (Arctic microorganism-derived) — supports the synthesis of proteins and lipids involved in the skin’s protective structure; also supports elasticity, making it particularly valuable when dehydration and ageing occur together.

Biofermented Glycine — supports the skin’s microbiome and helps address flaking by improving the environment, not just removing the symptom.

Important note: eye area

Do not apply Hydra-Fill around the eyes. Its strong water-binding action can encourage fluid retention in this area, making under-eye puffiness more noticeable. Use a dedicated eye product instead.

How to use

Apply after your everyday Meder serum (Energy-Soin or Soin-Apax), before your moisturiser. Morning and evening. Meder recommends a targeted course of 5–10 weeks.

Routine: Cleanser → Energy-Soin or Soin-Apax → Hydra-Fill → Meder cream → SPF

Hydra-Fill Serum = ongoing targeted treatment (morning and evening). Hydra-Fill Sheet Mask = intensive weekly plumping treatment. They complement each other; neither duplicates the other.
