Meder Arma-Neck Firming & Rejuvenating Cream for the Neck & Décolleté

Meder Arma-Neck Firming & Rejuvenating Cream for the Neck & Décolleté

Order by request

Your skincare shouldn't stop at your jawline.

Arma-Neck is MEDER's dedicated treatment for an area that is very often forgotten until we suddenly notice it in the mirror:

the neck.

We carefully cleanse our face. We use serums. We moisturise. We protect it from the sun.

And then, somewhere around the jawline, the skincare routine mysteriously ends.

The problem is that the neck is ageing at exactly the same time.

Its skin becomes thinner and drier. Collagen and elasticity change. Horizontal lines become more visible. The texture can become crepey, and eventually we may begin noticing that the skin simply doesn't look as firm as it once did.

Arma-Neck is designed to give this area the dedicated care it deserves, with the focus on maintaining hydration, elasticity, smoothness and a firmer-looking neck.

I think of it as:

hydrate → strengthen → smooth → support → maintain.

WHY I LIKE ARMA-NECK

The neck is a strange area when it comes to skincare.

We expect it to look like an extension of the face.

But we don't necessarily treat it like one.

And biologically, the neck isn't identical to facial skin either.

It has fewer sebaceous glands than some areas of the face, which means it can become dry more easily. The skin is constantly moving as we turn, look up, look down, sleep and speak. It is exposed to UV and environmental damage, and it gradually experiences the same age-related decline in collagen and elasticity as the face.

So when somebody tells me:

"My face still looks good, but suddenly my neck looks older,"

it usually isn't sudden at all.

The changes have been developing gradually.

We simply started paying attention to them later.

That's why I like the idea of neck-specific preventative care before those changes become very established.

WHO IS ARMA-NECK FOR?

I particularly like Arma-Neck for:

Loss of firmness
When the neck no longer looks or feels as taut as it used to.

Horizontal neck lines
When the natural folds across the neck are becoming deeper or more visible.

“Tech neck” lines
When repeatedly looking downward at phones, laptops and other devices is exaggerating existing neck creases.

Crepey texture
When the skin looks thin, finely wrinkled or slightly crumpled.

Dryness
When the neck feels tighter or drier than the face.

Age-related skin changes
When collagen and elasticity are beginning to decline.

Premature ageing
Particularly after years of sun exposure without consistently protecting the neck.

Décolleté ageing
When lines, dryness and loss of elasticity continue from the neck down across the upper chest.

Preventative neck care
Before significant laxity or deep wrinkles have developed.

You don't need to wait until you're unhappy with your neck.

As with most skincare:

maintaining is easier than correcting.

WHY DOES THE NECK AGE DIFFERENTLY FROM THE FACE?

Several things are happening at once.

The skin of the neck is relatively thin and can be more vulnerable to dehydration.

It is also constantly moving.

Every time you:

look down

look up

turn your head

sleep

work at a computer

or check your phone

the skin folds.

That's completely normal.

But over time, repeated movement combines with declining collagen and elasticity.

The skin doesn't bounce back quite as efficiently as it once did.

Then we add UV exposure.

And often, the neck hasn't received nearly as much sunscreen as the face.

Eventually we have the perfect combination:

movement + ageing + dehydration + UV exposure + years of neglect.

And suddenly everybody wants a neck cream.

WHAT EXACTLY ARE “TECH NECK” LINES?

You've probably seen the term everywhere.

Tech neck refers to the horizontal lines across the neck that can become more noticeable when we repeatedly hold our head in a downward position while looking at phones, tablets or laptops.

But there's an important misunderstanding here.

Your smartphone didn't invent horizontal neck lines.

Natural neck folds exist because your neck needs to move.

What modern device use can do is make us spend much longer periods repeatedly folding the skin in the same position, potentially making existing creases more noticeable.

So I don't want you panicking every time you look at your phone.

The problem isn't one text message.

It's repeated positioning, day after day, combined with the normal ageing of the skin.

CAN A CREAM FIX TECH NECK?

It can improve the skin component of the problem.

If a neck line looks deeper because the skin is:

dry.

thin.

less elastic.

or losing structural support,

improving those things can make the line appear softer.

But if you're asking a cream to physically change your posture?

No.

That's why I like approaching tech neck from both directions:

SKINCARE:
hydration + elasticity + structural support + sun protection.

LIFESTYLE:
better screen positioning + awareness of prolonged downward posture.

We don't need to choose between biology and behaviour.

Both matter.

HORIZONTAL NECK LINES DON'T NECESSARILY MEAN YOU'RE OLD

This is important.

Some people have visible horizontal neck lines when they're very young.

They can be strongly influenced by anatomy and genetics.

So if you're 23 and already have two lines across your neck, please don't conclude that you've somehow aged catastrophically early.

You have a neck.

It folds.

The question isn't whether we can create a completely crease-free cylinder underneath your head.

The question is whether we can maintain the quality, hydration and resilience of the skin surrounding those natural folds.

That's a much healthier goal.

WHAT ABOUT CREPEY NECK SKIN?

“Crepey” is the word people often use when skin starts looking:

thin

finely wrinkled

dry

and slightly loose.

Imagine the difference between a smooth sheet of paper and very fine crêpe paper.

This appearance usually involves more than simple dehydration.

There may be changes in:

collagen.

elastic fibres.

skin thickness.

lipid content.

and the skin's ability to retain water.

Hydration can make crepey skin look considerably better.

But when the texture is associated with more established structural ageing, we also need realistic expectations.

A cream can improve skin quality.

It cannot physically replace a large amount of lost tissue.

WHY DOES COLLAGEN MATTER SO MUCH?

Collagen is one of the major structural proteins responsible for the skin's strength and support.

When we're younger, the dermal framework is generally more robust.

As we age, collagen production changes and existing collagen is gradually affected by:

normal biological ageing

UV exposure

oxidative stress

and other environmental factors.

The result is skin that becomes less dense and less resilient.

That's when we begin seeing:

fine lines.

wrinkles.

thinning.

and loss of firmness.

This is why good neck care isn't simply about putting something oily on dry skin.

We want to think about hydration and structural support together.

AND WHAT ABOUT ELASTIN?

If collagen gives skin much of its structural strength, elastin contributes to its ability to stretch and return.

Think about repeatedly pulling and releasing an elastic band.

Healthy elastic fibres help skin recover after movement.

With ageing and cumulative environmental damage, that ability gradually changes.

This is especially relevant on the neck because the area moves constantly.

We're not trying to stop the neck moving.

That would be a fairly serious design flaw.

We're trying to maintain skin that handles that movement as well as possible.

WHY SUN DAMAGE MATTERS SO MUCH ON THE NECK

This is probably one of the biggest contributors to premature neck ageing.

Many people apply SPF beautifully to the face...

and stop at the jaw.

Meanwhile the neck spends years exposed to:

UVA

UVB

and cumulative environmental stress.

UV exposure contributes to collagen degradation, pigmentation and loss of elasticity.

And the frustrating thing is that this damage accumulates quietly.

You don't need to burn every summer for UV to affect skin ageing.

Years of ordinary exposure matter too.

So if you're investing in Arma-Neck while leaving your neck completely unprotected every day, we're working against ourselves.

PLEASE BRING YOUR SPF DOWN

Face.

Neck.

Décolleté.

If those areas are exposed, protect them.

And don't forget the sides of the neck.

People tend to apply sunscreen beautifully to the centre and somehow forget that their neck exists in three dimensions.

The back of the neck matters too when it is exposed.

Especially with short hair.

Good age-well skincare isn't only about what we add.

It's also about reducing the damage we're asking the skin to repair.

CAN ARMA-NECK ACTUALLY TIGHTEN LOOSE SKIN?

It can help the skin appear firmer, smoother and better supported by improving its overall condition.

But we need to distinguish:

loss of skin quality

from

significant tissue laxity.

If the skin is dehydrated, finely wrinkled and losing some elasticity, targeted skincare can make a meaningful cosmetic difference.

If there is substantial sagging caused by advanced structural ageing, major weight loss or anatomical changes, a topical cream cannot physically remove excess skin or reposition underlying tissues.

That isn't a failure of the cream.

It's simply the biological limit of topical skincare.

NECK WRINKLES VS NECK LAXITY

These are also different concerns.

NECK WRINKLES

Lines or creases within the skin.

They may be horizontal, fine or associated with repeated movement.

NECK LAXITY

Looseness or sagging of the skin and underlying structures.

You can have wrinkles without significant laxity.

You can also have laxity without particularly deep horizontal lines.

And you can have both.

Skincare generally has more potential to improve skin texture, hydration and fine lines than to physically correct significant laxity.

That's why understanding what you're actually seeing matters.

WHAT ABOUT THE “TURKEY NECK”?

This is another phrase used constantly in beauty marketing.

It generally refers to more significant loose or hanging skin underneath the chin and along the front of the neck.

This can develop through a combination of:

ageing.

genetics.

changes in skin elasticity.

changes in underlying muscle and connective tissue.

weight fluctuations.

and changes in facial and neck volume.

Arma-Neck can improve the quality of the skin covering this area.

But if there is substantial anatomical laxity, no cosmetic cream can literally lift all of that tissue back into its previous position.

Again:

better skin — yes.

non-surgical neck lift in a jar — no.

WHAT ABOUT THE PLATYSMA?

The platysma is a thin superficial muscle extending across the neck.

As we age, changes in the platysma and surrounding structures can contribute to visible vertical neck bands.

This is different from a surface wrinkle.

If you see prominent vertical cords appearing when you tense your neck, skincare isn't going to alter the muscle itself.

Arma-Neck can support the skin overlying the area.

But muscular neck bands are a different concern.

This is exactly why one product cannot realistically solve every visible sign of neck ageing.

WHAT ABOUT A DOUBLE CHIN?

Again, completely different problem.

A double chin can involve:

subcutaneous fat

genetics

facial anatomy

skin laxity

or a combination.

Arma-Neck is skincare.

It isn't a fat-loss treatment.

Improving skin firmness may make the jaw and neck area appear a little more refined, particularly when skin quality is part of the problem.

But a cream cannot selectively remove submental fat.

If the concern is primarily volume underneath the chin rather than skin quality, we need to recognise that distinction.

WHY DOES THE NECK BECOME SO DRY?

The neck doesn't always have the same sebaceous activity as oilier facial areas.

As we age, natural lipid production can decrease further.

At the same time, barrier function and water retention may become less efficient.

This is why somebody with a relatively oily face can still have:

a dry neck.

And dryness exaggerates everything.

Fine lines look deeper.

Texture looks rougher.

The skin feels less flexible.

Crepiness becomes more obvious.

Sometimes simply restoring proper hydration makes a neck look surprisingly better.

Not because we reversed ageing overnight.

Because dehydrated ageing skin looks older than properly hydrated ageing skin.

FACE CREAM OR NECK CREAM — DO I REALLY NEED BOTH?

Not everybody does.

If your facial moisturiser works beautifully on your neck and you don't have specific concerns there, I'm not going to tell you that you're committing a skincare crime by using one product for both.

But a dedicated neck product becomes useful when the neck is behaving differently.

Perhaps your face is oily but your neck is dry.

Perhaps the neck has significantly more visible lines.

Perhaps you're specifically concerned about firmness or crepey texture.

Or perhaps you simply want to give an ageing-prone area more targeted attention.

That's when Arma-Neck earns its place.

Buy a neck cream because your neck needs what it does.

Not because skincare requires another jar.

HOW TO USE ARMA-NECK

Apply Arma-Neck to clean skin of the neck and décolleté, using gentle upward and outward movements.

The exact amount depends on the area you're covering, but you don't need an excessively thick layer.

STEP 1 — CLEANSE

Don't stop cleansing at your jawline either.

If your neck has been wearing:

SPF.

makeup.

perfume residue.

pollution.

or simply the day's sweat and environmental debris,

cleanse it gently along with the face.

STEP 2 — APPLY YOUR SERUMS IF APPROPRIATE

If your facial serum is suitable for the neck, bring it down over this area.

You don't necessarily need an entirely separate serum routine for your neck.

STEP 3 — APPLY ARMA-NECK

Smooth the cream over the front and sides of the neck and extend it across the décolleté as appropriate.

Use gentle movements.

You do not need to aggressively pull the skin upward.

STEP 4 — SPF IN THE MORNING

If the neck or décolleté will be exposed during the day, finish with sunscreen.

This part is non-negotiable if ageing prevention is the goal.

SHOULD I ALWAYS MASSAGE UPWARDS?

You can use upward strokes if you enjoy them.

But please don't believe gravity is waiting for you to accidentally rub your moisturiser downward.

The direction in which you apply a cream for thirty seconds isn't what determines whether your neck will sag.

Ageing is considerably more complicated than that.

What matters is that application is:

gentle

comfortable

and consistent.

No pulling.

No aggressive stretching.

No trying to manually drag your jawline back towards your ears every evening.

Your fingers aren't performing a facelift.

CAN I APPLY MY FACE SERUM TO MY NECK FIRST?

Often, yes.

Many hydrating, antioxidant and age-well facial serums can be extended down over the neck when appropriate.

This can make the routine beautifully simple:

Cleanser → Serum → Arma-Neck → SPF

You don't necessarily need six separate products between your chin and collarbone.

Targeted skincare should make the routine smarter.

Not ridiculous.

WHAT ABOUT ACTIVE SERUMS ON THE NECK?

This is where I want a little more caution.

The neck can be more sensitive than the face.

An active that your forehead tolerates perfectly may cause irritation when applied generously to the neck.

So don't automatically extend every:

acid.

retinoid.

exfoliant.

or strong active

downwards simply because somebody on social media told you skincare must always reach the chest.

Introduce active products carefully.

If the neck becomes:

red.

itchy.

burning.

or persistently irritated,

that's not “anti-ageing working.”

That's irritation.

CAN I EXFOLIATE MY NECK?

Yes — carefully.

Gentle exfoliation can help when roughness and surface texture are concerns.

But the neck generally doesn't need aggressive exfoliation.

If you're already using Enzy-Peel as part of your MEDER routine and it is appropriate for your skin, the neck can be treated cautiously as well.

What I don't want is:

scrub → acid → retinol → more acid → neck cream

every evening.

We are trying to preserve the barrier.

Not test its survival skills.

CAN I USE ARMA-NECK WITH MYO-FIX?

Potentially, depending on your routine and the exact concern.

Myo-Fix is primarily designed for expression-related wrinkles, while Arma-Neck focuses on the overall condition, firmness and quality of neck skin.

But remember:

some neck changes involve skin.

some involve muscle.

some involve fat.

some involve anatomical laxity.

A complicated-looking neck doesn't automatically require more products.

It requires understanding what we're actually trying to improve.

WHAT ABOUT NECK PIGMENTATION?

The neck and décolleté can develop uneven pigmentation from years of UV exposure.

Good sun protection is essential.

If pigmentation is significant, we may also need to think beyond Arma-Neck and use a targeted pigmentation strategy.

Remember:

firmness treatment and pigmentation treatment aren't necessarily the same thing.

One product doesn't need to solve every problem.

If your main concern is dark spots rather than laxity or lines, we build the routine around that priority.

PERFUME ON THE NECK — DOES IT MATTER?

Potentially.

Many people spray fragrance directly onto the neck and décolleté every single day.

For most people this causes no obvious problem.

But fragrance combined with UV exposure can sometimes contribute to irritation or pigmentation in susceptible individuals, depending on the formulation and ingredients.

If you repeatedly develop:

redness.

itching.

irritation.

or unusual pigmentation

exactly where you spray perfume, it's worth reconsidering where you're applying it.

Sometimes the best skincare intervention is stopping something that's repeatedly irritating the skin.

WHAT ABOUT WEIGHT LOSS?

Significant weight loss can change the appearance of the neck.

As underlying volume decreases, the skin may appear looser.

How much it retracts depends on:

age

genetics

degree of weight loss

how long the tissue was stretched

and existing skin elasticity.

Arma-Neck can support hydration, smoothness and skin quality throughout that process.

But significant excess skin after major weight loss cannot be physically removed with a topical cream.

Again:

we support the skin.

We don't pretend skincare changes anatomy.

CAN MEN USE ARMA-NECK?

Absolutely.

Men develop:

neck lines.

sun damage.

loss of elasticity.

dryness.

and age-related skin changes too.

There is no separate biological category called “male neck collagen.”

Choose the product according to the concern.

Not according to who appears in the advertising.

WHEN SHOULD I START USING A NECK CREAM?

Before you're desperate for one.

There's no magic birthday.

Some people notice neck lines in their twenties.

Others maintain very firm neck skin considerably later.

Genetics, UV exposure, skin type, anatomy and lifestyle all matter.

If you're beginning to notice:

dryness.

fine lines.

crepey texture.

or reduced elasticity,

that's a perfectly reasonable time to introduce targeted neck care.

And if prevention matters to you, you can start earlier.

You don't need to wait for a wrinkle to become deep enough to justify treatment.

CAN ARMA-NECK PREVENT AGEING?

Nothing prevents ageing.

And I don't want us using that language carelessly.

We can help prevent premature visible ageing.

We can support hydration.

We can protect against UV.

We can maintain barrier function.

We can support structural processes.

We can help the skin remain healthier and more resilient for longer.

But your neck will still age.

That's biology.

The goal is not:

never age.

The goal is:

age with skin that has been properly cared for.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Hydration-related changes can appear relatively quickly.

Well-moisturised skin often looks:

smoother

plumper

less crepey

and more comfortable.

Changes related to firmness and established lines take longer.

This is where consistency matters.

Don't use Arma-Neck for four nights, inspect yourself under the harshest bathroom light available and conclude that your neck hasn't been transformed.

Give skin time.

Look at:

texture.

hydration.

smoothness.

firmness.

and how visible the lines are over several weeks.

We're looking for gradual improvement in skin quality.

WHAT IF MY NECK STILL LOOKS LOOSE?

Then we need to ask:

Is the problem actually the skin?

If the main issue is dryness and fine crepiness, skincare can often make a meaningful difference.

If the main issue is substantial laxity, muscle banding, submental fat or anatomical change, the limitations of topical skincare become much greater.

And that's okay.

A good product doesn't need to solve every anatomical problem to be a good product.

Sometimes the most useful thing I can tell you is:

this cream can improve your skin — but this particular concern isn't primarily a skincare problem.

MY ARMA-NECK RULES

If you remember nothing else from this page, remember these:

Your skincare doesn't have to stop at your jawline.
The neck is exposed to ageing and environmental damage too.

Horizontal neck lines aren't automatically a sign of old age.
Natural anatomy and movement create folds even in young skin.

Tech neck exaggerates existing folds.
Your phone didn't invent neck lines, but hours of downward posture can make repeated creasing more relevant.

Hydration matters enormously.
Dry neck skin makes fine lines and crepey texture considerably more visible.

Wrinkles and laxity aren't the same thing.
Skincare generally has more influence over skin quality than significant anatomical sagging.

A cream cannot remove a double chin.
Submental fat and skin quality are different concerns.

A cream cannot erase platysmal bands.
Muscle-related neck changes are not surface wrinkles.

Be careful with strong facial actives.
The neck can be considerably more sensitive than the face.

Don't aggressively massage it upwards.
Gentle application is enough.

Bring your SPF down.
Face → neck → exposed décolleté.

Prevention is easier than correction.
Don't wait until the neck is significantly damaged before remembering it exists.

Healthy ageing is still ageing.
The goal is stronger, smoother, more resilient skin — not pretending biology has stopped.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Arma-Neck is the cream I want you to think of when your skincare routine has been taking excellent care of your face while quietly forgetting everything underneath your jaw.

The neck has its own challenges.

It moves constantly.

It can become dry.

It receives years of UV exposure.

Collagen and elasticity gradually change.

Natural horizontal folds become deeper.

And repeated downward posture can make those folds even more noticeable.

So we're not trying to create a neck that never bends, moves or ages.

We're trying to maintain the quality of the skin covering it.

That means:

better hydration.

better resilience.

smoother texture.

softer-looking lines.

improved firmness.

And skin that remains as healthy and supported as possible while it ages.

Arma-Neck is not a surgical neck lift.

It isn't going to remove a double chin.

It isn't going to reposition significant loose tissue.

And it doesn't need to.

Its job is much simpler and much more realistic:

take proper care of the neck before — and while — the signs of ageing begin to show.

Because if we're prepared to spend years taking care of our face, there's really no reason our skincare should stop two centimetres below it.

ARMA-NECK AT A GLANCE

What is it?
A dedicated neck-care cream designed to support smoother, firmer and better-hydrated neck and décolleté skin.

Best for:
Loss of firmness, horizontal neck lines, tech-neck lines, dryness, crepey texture and age-related changes.

Where do I use it?
The neck and décolleté.

Does it help horizontal neck lines?
It can help improve hydration, skin quality and firmness so lines appear softer, particularly when dryness and loss of elasticity are contributing.

Does it help tech neck?
It can address the skin-quality component. Better screen positioning is also useful because repeated downward posture continues folding the skin.

Will it tighten loose neck skin?
It can improve the appearance of firmness and skin quality, but it cannot physically remove significant excess skin.

Will it remove a double chin?
No. A double chin may involve subcutaneous fat and anatomy, which topical skincare cannot remove.

Does it treat vertical neck bands?
It can improve the skin over them, but prominent platysmal bands involve muscle and cannot be eliminated with a cosmetic cream.

Can younger skin use it?
Yes. Preventative care can make sense before significant ageing becomes established.

Can men use it?
Yes.

Can I use facial serum underneath it?
Usually yes, provided the serum is appropriate and well tolerated on the neck.

Can I use facial acids or retinoids on my neck?
Potentially, but cautiously. Neck skin can be more reactive than facial skin.

Do I need sunscreen over it?
Yes. Protect exposed neck and décolleté skin during the day.

How should I apply it?
Gently over clean neck and décolleté skin. There is no need for aggressive upward massage.

Most important rule?
Don't wait until the neck becomes your biggest concern before you start treating it like part of your skincare routine.
