Meder Eu-Seb — For when it feels like you're constantly fighting your own skin.

We begin by looking at your skin together and talking about your breakouts, oiliness and sensitivity. From there I build the session around Meder's Eu-Seb protocol, combined with carefully adapted facial massage and, where it makes sense, Clione Fit technology. How much of each depends on your skin on that day, not on a fixed sequence.

Meder Eu-Seb

Meder is a Swiss professional skincare brand. Its BioFacials are non-invasive and microbiome-friendly: they work with the skin's natural barrier rather than disrupting it.

Eu-Seb is Meder's BioFacial for oily and blemish-prone skin. Rather than drying or stripping the skin, it works on the balance between the skin and its microbiome. The concentrate combines the prebiotic Bioecolia® with Noni and Maclura plant stem-cell extracts, which help regulate sebum, reduce the conditions in which blemishes recur and calm inflammation, without the irritation associated with retinol, acids or benzoyl peroxide. The Eu-Seb mask completes the protocol with mattifying, calming and hydrating care, so the skin feels fresh rather than tight.

Adapted facial massage

Massage encourages circulation and releases tension through the face, jaw, temples and scalp. Areas of active inflammation are approached with care, and I keep the work lighter where the skin needs to be left alone.

Clione Fit technology

Clione Fit is a Japanese facial technology that combines several modalities. Depending on your skin and what we are working on, I may use:

  • Blue LED light – targets acne-associated bacteria and supports a calmer, clearer-looking complexion
  • Red LED light – supports circulation and recovery where redness and inflammation are present
  • Electroporation – short pulses that temporarily help water-based actives penetrate the outer layers of the skin
  • MFIP (Mid-Frequency Interval Pulse) – a patented rhythmic, tapping-like stimulation that complements the other modalities
  • EMS – gentle electrical impulses that work the facial muscles, used only where it adds something to the session
  • Radiofrequency – mild warming of the tissue, left out when active inflammation is present

Not every technique is used in every session. The combination is chosen according to your skin, your priorities and how your skin responds during the treatment.

After the treatment you may notice

Skin should feel cleaner and fresher, but still comfortable: not tight or stripped. Excess shine may appear better controlled, while the complexion can look calmer, clearer and more balanced.

For recurring blemishes and persistent oiliness, consistency is generally more useful than aggression.

Think less about fighting every breakout and more about creating an environment in which your skin has a better chance to find its balance again.

Good to know

Eu-Seb suits skin that is oily yet sensitive or dehydrated, breakouts that keep returning, and anyone for whom conventional blemish products leave the skin dry and uncomfortable. Meder also lists it for hormonal breakouts, including during menopause, and as suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding, when many acne ingredients are off the table. Like all work on blemish-prone skin, it responds best to a series of sessions rather than a single visit.
